Income Management Officer required on a temporary basis for 3 months to work for our established client. Yearly salary 33,366 working 37 hours a week.

This is a temporary position, working on a hybrid basis, with visits to tenants' homes, within a 6 mile radius from the office. Please note that hybrid working will begin after 2-3 full weeks spent in the office.

Duties:

  • Monitor all current account in arrears and take action
  • Maximise customer income through welfare benefits and advice
  • Prepare and issue notices of cases for legal action
  • Attend court to present and defend cases
  • Attend evictions, working with bailiffs and locksmiths
  • Other duties stated on formal job specification provided at time of registration

Benefits:

Experience required:

  • Previous imcome management, tenancy management experience
  • Housing law, welfare benefits, debt advice knowledge
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Able to walk up flights of stairs to attend tenancy meetings
  • Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
  • PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
