Alecto Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our Client's team in Basildon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the automotive industry, working with leading brands.
Pay: 28,000 - 40,000 per year
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.
Location:
- Basildon (must be able to commute to this location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose and resolve vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain a professional appearance.
- Participate in in-house and manufacturer-provided training.
- Help maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
Requirements:
- NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent certification.
- Valid UK manual driving license with no more than 3 points.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Flexible and willing to learn new skills.
- MOT tester qualification (desirable but not essential).
