Job Advertisement: Welder/Fabricator
Are you a skilled Welder/Fabricator looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your talents? Join our client in Prittlewell, Southend-on-Sea, for a 6-month fixed-term contract and be part of a dynamic manufacturing team!
What You'll Do:
- Cut, shape, and form sheet metal using various materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel, and galvanised steel.
- Perform welding using techniques such as arc (MMA), MIG, and TIG across multiple materials to ensure strong, high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
- Safely operate machinery like guillotines, CNC press brakes, notchers, and rollers to execute precision cuts, bends, and shaping.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of sheet metal materials, welding consumables, and gases to keep projects flowing smoothly.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively.
- A proactive approach to inventory management.
