Financial Controller / Senior Accounts
Southminster
Due to retirement, our client in Southminster are urgently looking to recruit a Senior Accounts or Financial Controller to join their established business in a Part Time capacity (circa 30 hour week).
The role will involve:
- Manage cash flow, bank accounts and bank reconciliation
- Prepare purchase ledger payment runs
- Accounts to trial balance monthly
- Monthly preparation of management accounts
- Prepare and agree Annual budgets with Directors
- VAT and Directors NI prep and pay
- Oversee stock control and cost analysis
- Prepare daily KPI reports
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Sage 200 accounts system
- Liaise with external accountants re audited annual accounts.
The hours would ideally be 9 - 3 Monday - Friday, but this can be flexible. It is possible that some of the month end/annual procedures could be outsourced to a consultant to suit hours and experience. Salary to be agreed.
