Academics are working with a 'good' school in Southminster who are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant. This is a long term role due to commence after the February half-term. There is the possibility that this role will turn permanent for the right candidate who showcases dedication and exceptional skills to help student's progress and achieve their best. The school also offers teacher training from September 2025, which would be carried on site and would allow you to earn a wage, while working towards your QTS.

Key responsibilities within the role:

  • Support students in their education, helping raise attainment in core subjects
  • Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
  • Building and maintaining successful relationships with students, whilst treating them with respect and consideration
  • Have the highest expectation that every student will make sustained academic and personal progress
  • Ensure that every pupil is ready for the next steps in their learning and is supported to participate and contribute to
