Blakewater Recruitment are currently working with a Company based in the Northwest.

Our client provides and installs electronic security systems all over the UK and prides itself on maintaining a strict customer focused approach and is now looking to add to its successful team .

Due to expansion, we now require a Fire Engineer

to work around the Northwest

This is an excellent opportunity to work Monday to Friday in a permanent role for a company that values and supports its Engineers with a friendly full back office support team.

If you have experience we would like to speak to you.

  • Service, maintain, and commission fire safety systems including but not limited to:
  • Protec (Desirable)
  • Gent (Desirable)
  • AOV Systems (Desirable)
  • Fault finding and diagnostics on fire alarm systems.
  • Perform C&E (Cause and Effect) testing.
  • Submit detailed reports with descriptive information for follow-on works.
  • Collaborate with the team and work independently when required.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest industry standards and regulations.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in fire engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of BS5839-1 and BS5839-6 standards.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
