They are seeking a Credit Controller with a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 per year and require candidates to have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Our client is one of the UK’s leading distributors supplying more than 10,000 food, drink and catering supply products to over 40,000 customers in all different industries, including hotels, restaurants, pubs, prisons, care homes, hospitals, schools and universities. They are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Follow the company collection procedure to minimize bad debt
  • Provide invoices and statements to customers
  • Monitor customer credit limits and spend and obtain credit reports when required
  • Process direct debits and take card payments
  • Attend depot visits when required and build relationships with internal and external customers

Skills & Experience

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Confident and motivated
