Description
You will be responsible for:
- Ensure customer debts are paid in a timely manner
- Manage the collection process while maintaining good customer relations
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
- Regularly make contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
- Issue monthly customer statements
- Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits
- Handle disputed accounts and negotiate to bring payment into line with terms
- Provide accurate advice on billing queries
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A strong background in Accounting & Finance
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of relevant software
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
- A solid understanding of basic accounting principles
