LTA / Reed Education are seeking a teaching assistant to work part time for a friendly school in the Southport area. This new role involves working within a small cohort nursery class which includes some children with additional needs.

The role will start from November the 4th and will be a full day Monday and Tuesday and a morning on a Friday. The pay for the role will be £13.43 hour.

Day-to-day of the role:Monitoring targets for future progress of children.Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers.Understanding the needs of all pupils and monitoring their progress in accordance with the school’s practices.Employing excellent behaviour management skills to maintain a conducive learning environment.Required Skills & Qualifications:Must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.Experience working with nursery-aged children, including those with additional needs, is preferred.
