Paraplanner - North West

Location: Southport (with flexible working & 1 day remote)

 

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join one of the UK's leading financial planning firms, based in the North West.

As part of a growing team, this newly created role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting high-net-worth clients and contributing to the firm's expansion plans.

Working closely with the internal team, you'll help design tailored investment solutions for both new and existing clients. This is a dynamic role involving exposure to high-value portfolios, complex client cases and ever-changing legislation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including cash flow modelling, risk profiling and client account reviews.
  • Develop and recommend bespoke financial solutions for high-net-worth clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with advisers and other team members to create detailed, compliant suitability reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of client data and provide support with investment strategy development.
  • Deliver excellent client service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

 

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar technical financial planning role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • High level of professionalism, trustworthiness and discretion.
