Tradewind Recruitment are working with a Secondary school based in Southport who are looking to recruit a tutor to work on a 1:1 basis with one of their students. The student has a diagnosis of ASD and will be carrying out their learning in their home environment.

The tutor will be required to work within the child's house, supporting them with their GCSE pathway. The students parent will be present at all time to provide support.

The school will consider a qualified teacher or tutor with proven experience supporting children with additional needs through their GCSE's.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within an educational environment.
  • Experience working 1:1 with students.
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs.
  • Positive behaviour management techniques
  • Understanding of Safeguarding procedures (training will be provided).
