About the Role - Year 6 Teacher
Teaching:
- Deliver an engaging curriculum to ensure highest possible outcomes for the children
- Support in delivering engaging interventions and SATS booster sessions using high-quality resources and curricula.
- Utilise diverse assessment methods to track progress and set aspirational targets.
- Use data to tailor plans to individual learners' needs.
- Set homework and plan additional activities to reinforce learning.
Behaviour and Safety:
- Create a safe and stimulating environment where children are motivated to learn.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, adhering to school protocols.
- Model high standards of behaviour and dress, maintaining positive relationships with students.
Teamwork and Professional Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively within a supportive team.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and stakeholders.
