Are you an enthusiastic and innovative Design & Technology Teacher looking for your next challenge? Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a dedicated professional to join a thriving secondary school in Southport to provide maternity cover.

This full-time role offers the opportunity to teach a broad and exciting Design & Technology curriculum, inspiring students to develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and practical knowledge.

About the Role:
  • Full-time teaching position from ASAP until July 2025.
  • Delivering engaging lessons across a range of Design & Technology disciplines, including Resistant Materials, Graphics, and Product Design.
  • Working closely with a supportive department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students thrive and succeed.
About You:

We are looking for a passionate individual who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and has experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level.
  • Has excellent knowledge of the Design & Technology curriculum and the ability to teach multiple disciplines.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and a commitment to fostering students' learning and development.
  • Is available to start as soon as possible and commit to the role until July 2025.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
