Job Title: Higher Level teaching Assistant

Location: Southport

Start Date: September

Salary: £100 - £160 per day

TeacherActive are looking for a HLTA for a long-term assignment. As an agency, we complete the clearance and safeguarding process for the school before you are placed. 

The position is in a small primary school providing support in both Key Stage 1 and 2, with a focus on delivering intervention sessions to small groups, including phonics and SATS support. The successful HLTA will be expected to monitor the children’s progress and report back to the school SENCO, parents, and other supporting bodies.

This position is due to start September 2024.

It is essential that you have/are the following

• HLTA certificate
• The enthusiasm to work with children with a variety of different personalities and skill levels
• A strong, confident individual who can take control of a classroom
• Able to engage well with pupils and staff
• Able to work under your own initiative
• Smartly presented and with excellent time management skills
