The School and Role

Vision for Education are working with a two-form entry Primary school located in Southport, are looking to appoint a nurturing and passionate Early Years specialist on a full time basis working Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30. Working in this Primary School as part of an established team, the desired early years specialist will be working in an EYFS class supporting students with their development, this full time teaching assistant role is long term and potentially permanent.

An Early years qualification Level 2 minimum is required for this role along with reference-able experience from a private nursery setting or Primary school.  The setting have a high percentage of children within EYFS who are under assessment for SEND, therefore a passion for supporting children with additional needs is essential.

 

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with early years aged children

-          Minimum Level 2 qualification in early years

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team and in small groups

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
