Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Do you want to make a difference in children's lives while working flexible hours that suit your schedule? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for dedicated and reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team and work in our SEND schools in Southport and nearby areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to students with SEND on a day-to-day supply basis
- Assist with classroom activities, both 1:1 and in small groups
- Help create a positive learning environment for all students
- Support teachers in managing behaviour and ensuring student engagement
- Flexibility and reliability are essential
- Experience in SEND settings is beneficial, but not required
- A passion for working with children with additional needs
- Ability to build positive relationships with staff and students
- A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
