Casual Workers - Southport

£11.67 per hour (Inclusive of holiday pay)

Variety of possible shifts, including day shift, waking night shifts and weekends

My client is a not-for-profit organisation providing residential and supported accommodation services for vulnerable adults, families, and young people.

We offer 24 hour supported accommodation and emergency crash beds bringing the most vulnerable people into a warm and safe space. We welcome applications from individuals hoping to join our team of bank workers supporting our Southport Adult Services Team.

You would be able to provide the highest possible standards of support to vulnerable adults and work in an effective and cooperative manner in a team environment. A natural ability to communicate clearly and effectively with individuals in crisis would be vital. You would be able to accurately and efficiently record information in case notes and support plans.

To work in our Adult hostels, it would be of benefit to have experience of working with vulnerable individuals and an understanding of the complex issues faced by residents, such as homelessness, harm reduction, drug and alcohol dependency, domestic violence and mental health. You would be supporting residents through crisis and periods of change, promoting positive outcomes and perhaps moving the residents towards independence.

Full Training is provided.
