Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Supply Teacher to work in a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) High School based in Southport. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who thrives in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

About the Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will be covering a range of lessons across different subjects, working with small groups of students with various SEND needs. You will need to have experience or a genuine interest in working with young people who require extra support in their learning and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of students.
  • Providing support and encouragement to students with SEND.

  • Being flexible and available to respond to morning calls for short-term and long-term cover assignments.
  • Collaborating with staff and following school policies to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience working in a SEND setting or willingness to learn and adapt.
  • A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to new situations.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to teaching.
  • Ability to handle morning calls for daily cover requirements.
