We are seeking a dedicated HR Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will manage the employee life-cycle, provide first-line HR support, and contribute to team projects. We're looking for a proactive team player committed to enhancing the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support recruitment efforts, on-boarding processes, and reference checks.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Update HR databases with employee changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, absences).
- Provide payroll with necessary data such as absences, bonuses, and leave.
- Respond to employee requests and prepare relevant HR documentation.
- Work closely with the HR Manager on recruitment and retention strategies.
- Assist with performance management processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- GCSEs or equivalent required; an HR-related degree is advantageous.
