Are you a qualified and experienced Residential Conveyancing specialist seeking an exciting new opportunity? RecQuest are working on behalf of a highly respected Portsmouth law firm to find a dedicated professional for their property team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and shared ownership schemes.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients, ensuring clear communication and a smooth progression of their transactions.
  • Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Conduct title checks, searches, and other due diligence to ensure transactions comply with legal requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and professional standards, including Money Laundering Regulations and the Solicitors Code of Conduct.
  • Supervise and support junior staff as needed, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
