This position reports to the Finance Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the credit control function, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Manage credit control activities with a calm but firm approach, maintaining positive relationships with clients.
- Handle and resolve invoice queries and disputes efficiently and professionally.
- Assess customer accounts regularly for potential bad debt risks and report concerns to the Finance Management Team.
- Maintain aged debt within the limits set by company leadership.
- Support the month-end process by providing relevant financial data to the Finance Supervisor.
- Raise invoices on a weekly and monthly basis using automated systems integrated with accounting software.
- Process Direct Debit collections, ensuring that customers adhere to agreed payment terms.
- Run financial reports, perform reconciliations, and conduct basic data analysis.
- Adapt to evolving financial systems and contribute to process improvements.
- Provide cover for team members during absences.
- Work independently to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Maintain strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, and stay up to date with relevant software training.
- Comply with Health & Safety policies, ensuring personal and team safety at all times.
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and code of conduct in all aspects of work.

- Assist the leadership team in identifying opportunities for business improvement.
