Stores Operative

The Company
A well-established engineering company is looking for a Material Handler to join the team.

The Role
The successful candidate will coordinate the cost-effective movement of all materials to achieve company targets.

Key duties include:

• Picking and packing materials
• Loading and unloading materials
• Receiving, checking, and receipting materials using the ERP system
• Unloading/loading delivery vehicles using the company forklift as required
• Preparing kitted parts for manufacture
• Ensuring stock is stored appropriately, with correct labeling

Working hours are 12:45 finish every Friday, working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:15 to 17:00 and Friday 08:15 to 12:45,

The Candidate
Previous experience in stores or a warehouse environment

Experience in a technical environment is advantageous

Forklift experience required

Strong team player

Good communication skills

The Package
up to £25,500 plus a benefits package.
