As Finance Business Partner (Transformation & Controls), you will be responsible for the following:

  • Driving change throughout the Finance function and the wider business, identifying and rectifying risks and implementing new processes to enhance financial controls and efficiency
  • Looking at what controls the business has in place to protect the business
  • Documenting new processes and ensuring that the message is communicated and followed across the board
  • Analyse current processes across Finance and the wider business to ensure understanding of the activities end-to-end and the systems utilised
  • Supporting the Group Management Accountant to develop a transformation plan for key processes to align with the objectives of the business
  • Consulting with key stakeholders across the wider business and Finance to develop standardised processes across the Finance workstreams
  • Creating and updating detailed process documents that describe key procedures and responsibilities
  • Ensuring that accounting processes comply with International Reporting Standards and that strong financial controls are in place across the business
  • Identifying opportunities for automation
  • Working closely with the Systems and Reporting Accountant and the Internal Audit team to ensure the design and effectiveness of systems, processes and controls
  • Supporting the Group Management Accountant in quantifying efficiency's and potential savings resulting in transformations

The successful Finance Business Partner (Transformation & Controls) will have the following experience/qualifications:

  • Good understanding of Financial Controls
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Ideally a qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Practical experience of identifying and delivering change in a large corporate environment
  • Understanding of key strategic business drivers, regulatory constraints, and finance processes
  • Strong analytical skills

As Finance Business Partner (Transformation & Controls), you will be entitled to the following:

  • £48,000 - £60,000 per annum
  • Permanent contract
  • Hybrid working (2 days on site, 3 days from home)
  • 37.5 hours per week (dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm)
  • 12% management bonus scheme
  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme with the option to increase contributions immediately upon joining (employee 8% and employer 7%)
  • Life insurance cover of 2 x annual salary, increasing to 4x annual salary if you increase your pension contributions
  • 23 days holidays increasing to 24 days after 5 years service and 25 days after 10 years service
