The Opportunity
Immediate start - 6 month fixed term initial contract. Hybrid working (3 days per week office based).
Are you an experienced interim accountant who enjoys change and variety?
You’ll be joining a large market leading group in their central finance team.
The role is broad and interesting - a hands on remit managing period end close, associated reporting, controls, reconciliations and business interaction.
You’ll have plenty of grown up autonomy but you’ll also enjoy working in a cohesive and collaborative team.
This is a business amid change and there is significant likelihood of contract extension or permanent opportunities across the finance function for the right individual.
You need to be someone with a track record of hitting the ground running in an interim assignment / project and have extensive previous experience of management accounting / financial reporting.
Required:
- A relevant professional qualification ideally (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Experience as management accountant, financial accountant, finance manager or RTR Accountant within a reasonably large business / group.
- Confident IT skills and experience of using an ERP (SAP would be helpful).
- A calm and measured approach to picking up new processes / systems etc.
- Natural proactivity - ability to suggest improvement and have a positive impact.
