Management AccountantLocation:Newark (Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days from home)Salary: £45,000 - £50,000Are you a commercially minded Management Accountant looking for an opportunity to add real value in a dynamic and purpose-driven organisation? This is an exciting opportunity to step into a business partnering role, working closely with operational teams to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.The Role as a Management Accountant, you will be at the heart of financial decision-making, working with senior stakeholders to provide insight, challenge assumptions, and support business growth. Your key responsibilities will include:? Producing and analysing management accounts to guide commercial decision-making.? Business partnering with operational teams to improve profitability and cash flow.? Helping teams understand cost drivers and liaising with the Funding Manager to maximise available funding.? Supporting the transition to a new finance system (currently Sage 50 and Xero).? Leading on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.? Identifying efficiency opportunities to optimise financial performance.What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you’ll need:? A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or finalist level with relevant experience.? Proven Management Accounting and Business Partnering experience.? Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders.? Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.? A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on adding value and driving efficiency.Experience in the charity sector is beneficial but not essential.What’s in it for You? ??
