A prominent UK firm of Chartered Accountants are looking for a Trainee / Semi–Senior Accountant to join their firm in a key job role with opportunity for quick career development, close to Newark, Grantham, Lincoln and Nottingham.

The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate Accounting function to a varied client base, both in the office and at the offices of clients.

Working with our supportive team, you will be trained to progress in the role, with excellent opportunities for internal promotion and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
  • Corporation and Personal tax returns
  • Bookkeeping and VAT returns
  • Preparing client financial statements
  • Contributing to Management Accounts
  • Potentially some scope for audit work
