Finance Manager

Base salary up to £60,000 per annum subject to experience plus benefits

Location - Nottinghamshire

4 Days in the office, commutable from Newark, Worksop, Mansfield

T2M Resourcing are recruiting a Finance Manager on behalf of a successful business services company. As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a small team within a growing business and be confident with being the technical voice around the numbers and keeping an accurate record of financial transactions.

You will be driven and confident at managing and developing relationships with a variety of stakeholders to include working closely with the senior leadership team across the business advising on the financial implications of business decisions to aid growth and profit.

Ideally you will have experience from a facilities management background or equivalent, there may be career opportunities for the right candidate.

Responsibilities of as Finance Manager:

  • Preparing management accounts, reports, budgets, commentaries
  • Invoicing in regard to contract timelines
  • Reconciliation of spend against budget to ensure job costing is accurately tracked
  • Treasury and cashflow management, controlling and forecasting income and expenditure
  • Preparation of supplier and contractor payment runs
  • Overseeing credit control and collection debts
  • Prepare financial statements in line with internal and external reporting requirements
  • Support the administrative requirements for internal audits
  • Support continuous improvement and the accurate use / management of financial systems / policies
  • Budgeting, reviewing financial performance and forecasting
  • Quarterly VAT returns

Requirements to be successful as a Finance Manager:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT) or equivalen
  • Strong B2B knowledge of revenue recognition
  • Experience of Sage 50, ideally Sage Intacct
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build strong relationships with the immediate team, wider business and external stakeholders across multi businesses
  • Must be able to get on with the job and be technically confident with an eye on the wider economy and have a solutions based approach
