Harper Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a thriving online retailer who are looking for an experienced Accountant to cover a period of maternity leave. The position will involve overseeing the efficient management of all financial transactions, ensuring accurate record keeping and financial compliance.

They are looking for someone who can start soon to benefit from a handover with the current incumbent.

What will the role involve?

  • Sales Ledger and Direct Debit Management
  • Chasing payments on outstanding balances and general credit control
  • Generate and distribute invoices promptly and accurately.
  • Reconcile transactions and address discrepancies.
  • Purchase ledger and BACS run preparation.
  • Processing credit card receipts, expenses and reconciling statements
  • Prepare Management Accounts
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.

Who are we looking for?

  • Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Company Accountant or similar essential
  • ACCA/CIMA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience with sales ledgers, purchase ledgers and nominal Ledgers
  • Comfortable managing multiple financial processes and meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices
