Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a Level 3 qualified practitioner to join a warm and nurturing nursery in Newark.

About the Role:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for young children. You will support their learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring their welfare and safeguarding at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the learning, development, and welfare of a designated group of children.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework.
  • Act as a key person, building positive relationships with children and parents.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by following health & safety, hygiene, and safeguarding protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, observations, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and care standards.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development.
  • Adhere to nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding responsibilities at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
  • Experience working with children in an early years setting.
  • A passion for supporting children’s development and learning.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety policies.
  • Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check and maintain ongoing suitability.
