This role is in the ideal location for candidates based in Newark, Bingham, Lincoln and the surrounding areas. This role is responsible for providing initial technical assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and escalating more complex problems to higher-level support teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of IT systems, and a passion for helping others. Key Responsibilities: - Respond to inbound support requests via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner. - Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical issues, including hardware, software, network, and system problems. - Log and prioritize support tickets in the IT service management system. - Provide step-by-step guidance to end-users for resolving technical issues. - Escalate unresolved issues to second and third-line support teams as needed. - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical solutions. - Assist with user account management and access permissions. - Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service and support. Requirements: - Basic knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and network technologies. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. - Experience in a customer-facing technical support role is a plus. - Familiarity with IT service management tools and ticketing systems is desirable. - A positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
