The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining the organisation's IT infrastructure, ensuring that its computer systems, networks, and servers are running efficiently and securely. Responsibilities Include: Provide technical support for users, including troubleshooting system and network problems. Create, manage, and delete user accounts, permissions, and access controls in systems such as Active Directory. Set up and maintain user workstations, email accounts, and other necessary IT resources. Prepare regular reports on system performance, security status, and any incidents or outages. Maintain detailed logs of system activity and issues. Monitor system performance, including server uptime, network traffic, and resource usage. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, and backups. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, or networking.
