Our award-winning Client is seeking a Tank Cleaning Team Leader to join their expanding company on a full time, permanent basis. This role will require flexibility to stay away from home, and a driving licence is essential.

The Role

As Tank Cleaning Team Leader, you will be working with a unique and bespoke product, therefore full training will be given. Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out the cleaning of storage tanks (above and below ground)
  • Being responsible for your team and their conduct
  • Carrying out tool box talks, completing site safety checklists and confined space entry paperwork
  • Maintaining the van and equipment
  • Identifying issues with water quality (along with providing resolutions) - this will include recommending tank cleans, legionella testing etc.
  • Carrying our remedial works and repairs when required
  • Being responsible for completion of RAMS and other onsite documentation
The Candidate

An ideal candidate for Tank Cleaning Team Leader should possess the following:

  • A full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 points
  • Understanding of Health & Safety at work
  • Happy to work towards SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) and CSCS, Working at Heights, Working in Confined Spaces if not already achieved
  • Computer literate (with MS packages)
  • Be motivated, organised and have excellent attention to detail

This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who has worked within:

  • Construction industry, water industry or similar in a supervisory role
  • Worked with pumps
  • Confined space experience
  • Health and safety knowledge
  • Commercial cleaning practices
  • Experience leading a team

You will be expected to stay away from home for up to 4 nights per week. All hotels are paid for, plus a daily food budget. You will be provided with a fully stocked van, company laptop and company mobile phone.
