Description

Our client is experiencing growth, and due to this they are hiring an additional member of staff to join the well established payroll team of 4. My client is open to hiring a Payroll Officer or a Senior Payroll Officer, depending upon the successful candidate's level of experience. You will be reporting into the Senior Payroll Manager and will be processing payroll from cradle to grave. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Processing weekly, monthly, 4 weekly, quarterly and annual payroll.
  • Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP
  • Calculating salary deductions
  • Preparing year end payroll reconciliations and producing P60s
  • Dealing with payroll queries
  • Dealing with pension assessments
  • Preparing payroll journals
  • Ensuring employee records are up to date.
  • Liaising with HMRC regarding payroll issues
  • Preparing year end payroll returns
