Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager - We are looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager a successful nationwide Quantity Surveying consultancy in the East Midlands. 

We are seeking applications from experienced Quantity Surveyors who have a Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management or a related field, and ideally, a Chartered member of the RICS, or a commitment to achieve Chartered status within 3 years.

Duties 

  • Manage all aspects of cost planning, budgeting, and financial control for construction projects, including preparing valuations, cost reports, and forecasts.

  • Provide expert advice on contract administration, risk management, procurement strategies, and negotiate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

  • Supervise and mentor junior surveyors, ensuring the successful delivery of services while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting business development.

About You 

  • Degree level in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management or a related field.
  • A Chartered member of the RICS or working towards
  • CostX Measurement Software.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the UK as required.
