Job Title: M&E Quantity SurveyorLocation: Lincoln / NottinghamPay Rate: £400 - £500 per dayWork Arrangements: Office / Site / WFHHours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Working Pattern:
- 2 days from home
- 3 days in the office/site
Position Type: Temporary (2-3 months) with potential for extension or permanent role
Projects:
- Healthcare projects account for the majority of this clients' work.
- Industrial projects including Amazon warehouses.
- Project Values range but are typically around £10m for the MEP Packages.
Software:
- Microsoft NAV (experience preferred)
- Excel
- Word
Qualifications:
- Ideally, a quantity surveying degree or equivalent
Typical Duties:
- NEC contracts (Option C - Target cost model)
- Managing change
- Compensation events
- Managing valuations upstream to client
- Managing subcontractors' payment notices and changes
- Internal processes, monthly CVR P/L spreadsheet
- Cash-flow monitoring
- Supporting the project team
- Building and managing relationships with clients
Key Points:
- NEC experience is essential
- >5 years of experience in the M&E field, able to work independently
