Future Prospects Group are delighted to be working with our client from within the Automotive industry who are actively recruiting for a Paint Technician on a full-time, permanent basis to join their team.

As a Paint Technician, you’ll play a key role in the finishing and maintenance of vehicles. If you love working hands-on and have an eye for detail, this might be the perfect role for you.

THE ROLE

Your responsibilities as a Paint Technician will include:

  • Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning and sanding surface areas
  • Select and mix paint colours to ensure an accurate match
  • Apply paint to a high accuracy ensuring best coverage and adhesion
  • Conducting paint checks on a variety of vehicles
  • Identifying and repairing any paint issues found during checks
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
  • Keeping detailed records of all servicing and repairs
THE CANDIDATE

The ideal Paint Technician will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

  • Prior experience in a similar role or industry
  • ATA qualification or have at least three years’ experience working to the highest standards within a similar role
  • NVQ Level 1, 2 & 3 in relevant qualification
  • Attention to detail
  • A friendly and approachable manner
