We are seeking an experienced Combat Systems Engineer to join our team, supporting the delivery of the Naval Combat Systems Integration Support Service (NCSISS). You will play a key role in ensuring the integration, testing, evaluation, and acceptance of combat systems across all phases of the equipment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical matters related to IT and communications systems.
• Provide independent advice and guidance to equipment authorities and suppliers.
• Oversee the production of technical documentation, including Certificates of Safe Integration.
• Deliver technical solutions and report progress to project leads.
• Engage with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to understand requirements and provide expert input.
• Support sea trials on Royal Navy platforms, including travel within the UK and abroad.

Requirements:

• HND or equivalent qualification.
• Chartered Engineer (or willingness to work towards).
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in engineering or systems engineering.
• Proven experience with Naval Combat Systems and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Desirable knowledge of radar, sonar, geospatial referencing, communications, and weapon systems.
