If so, we want to hear from you! We are looking for an experienced and adaptable ICT Teacher to join our dedicated team in the Halifax area. As part of this position, you'll teach ICT while contributing across the curriculum to support the learning and development of all students.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in ICT, adapting to meet the needs of learners with SEND and SEMH.
  • Provide engaging, creative, and differentiated teaching across the curriculum.
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to support students' progress.
  • Build positive relationships with students, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to provide the best outcomes for students.
  • Take part in planning, assessment, and reporting in line with school policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A solid understanding of SEND and SEMH needs, with the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Subject expertise in ICT, with the flexibility to teach across the curriculum.
  • Eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Possess a DBS or willingness to get one.
