Service Engineer

Service Engineer required. Our client has been supplying manufacturing systems to education, design and industrial customers all over the world for more than 70 years. They are now looking for a CNC Laser Service Engineer due to the growth of the business.

Successful candidates will install, commission, provide training on and service and repair a range of Laser Cutters, Laser Engravers and CNC machine tools at customer's sites throughout the UK.

Service Engineer Position Overview

• Servicing CNC and Laser machinery around UK Mainland.
• Working in the workshop up to 1-2 a week when required.
• Collecting machine for delivery and collect stock for spare parts from the workshop
• Communicating with customers
• Install and commission new machinery
• Perform Fault-Finding on manufacturing machinery

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position
• Live within a commutable distance of Halifax
• Happy to stay away up to 2-3 nights week (never over the weekend).
• A Recognised electrical qualification advantageous
• Experience with CNC Laser Cutting and Engraving (CO2 laser cutting for non-metal materials for schools/college/university, Laser machines for metal cutting on a commercial/ industrial basis) advantageous

• Salary: £38,000- £45,000
• Working Hours: 7:30- 4:30- Monday to Thursday. 7:30-12:30 on a Friday.
• Holiday Package: 25 days + 8BH
