We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Maths to join a vibrant SEND school in Halifax. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners with diverse needs, particularly those with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) challenges.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that meet the individual needs of students with SEND and SEMH.
- Teach across the curriculum as required, adapting lessons to support learners in various subjects.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Promote positive social and emotional development in students, using tailored interventions when necessary.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
- Strong knowledge and experience of working with SEND and SEMH students.
- The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Eligible to work in the UK (No Sponsorship).
- Possess a DBS on the update service or willingness to get one.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with young people.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
