TECHNICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR

Location: Skypark, Exeter - near Exeter Airport

Job type: Permanent

Reporting to: Service Manager

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for a Technical Customer Service Advisor for our clients team based in Exeter on a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will take all customer and retailer calls of technical nature and provide them with answers and advise. This role will require someone who is able to resolve customer issues in a timely and diplomatic manner regardless of the circumstances.

A knowledge of heating appliances of all fuel types and their installation and servicing or a Gas Safe Certification or HETAS certification would be highly advantageous for the position.

The role:

      Resolve technical issues relating to the business brands raised by retailers, end users and members of the public

Handling call and email enquiries covering all aspects of installation, building regulations, operations and safety of products

Filter and monitor the accuracy of all complaint data entry

Carry out fault finding analysis over the telephone with retailers and end users and offer appropriate advice to resolve issue

Document and report on all calls and problems identified and log onto the companies CRM system

Ensure information provided is accurate, appropriate and in accordance with all the relevant regulations and installation use

What you will need:

      Excellent communication skills - verbally and written

Proactive approach to keeping records and reports up to date

Excellent customer service skills

Knowledge of Outlook and Word and keen to learn CRM system

Able to work as part of a team well

Flexibility to carry out a wide ranging role that will vary across the year

Knowledge of heating appliances would be highly advantageous
