Vehicle Paint Prepper
Location: Chelmsford
Basic Salary: up to £45,000
Hours: 42.5 hour week Monday - Friday
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a talented and efficient Vehicle Paint Prepper / Paint Prep Technician / Paint Prepper / Car Prepper to join their team. You will be preparing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications, ready for repair.
As an experienced Vehicle Paint Prepper / Prep Paint Technician / Paint Prepper / Car Prepper, you will be responsible for:
- Surface preparation, filling, sanding and cleaning surfaces
- Unpacking, handling and preparing parts prior to paint
- Minor Filler Jobs
- Prepare and clean panels for priming.
- Priming
- Prepare Vehicles for paint
- Polishing
Qualifications / Skills for Vehicle Prepper / Prep Technician / Prepper / Car Prepper:
- You will have previous experience preparing cars for paining, ideally from an accident repair background, with a high attention to detail and working to high standards.
- You will be able to work safely under pressure and be able to plan and manage your workload effectively.
