Are you ready to take on a dynamic and impactful role as a Site Accountant with our client at their thriving manufacturing facility in Spalding? In this pivotal position, you'll provide vital support to the Manufacturing management team, delivering actionable insights and hands-on guidance that foster continuous improvement. You'll also work closely with the Finance Manager for the meat division, ensuring up-to-date and accurate management information to inform strategic decision-making.
What You'll Do:
- Shape Success: Prepare comprehensive weekly P&L reports and detailed site performance updates that influence decision-making at every level.
- Collaborate and Lead: Partner directly with the Site GM and management team, ensuring seamless communication and strategic alignment.
- Drive Insights: Provide daily cost and yield reports, spotlighting opportunities for enhanced efficiency and profitability.
- Optimise Practices: Share expert advice on best practices and site procedures, helping the team achieve operational excellence.
- Unlock Understanding: Deliver sharp analysis of performance and cost drivers, making data meaningful and actionable.
- Own Financial Integrity: Oversee month-end journals and ensure meticulous reconciliation with weekly reports.
- Inspire Growth: Mentor and train an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant, helping to build a future-ready finance team.
