NXTGEN is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our client's growing team at their Spalding site. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team by managing cashbook postings, credit cards, and expenses. You'll also be responsible for month-end journals, payroll entries, VAT reconciliations, and assisting with audits and year-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post daily cashbook transactions and handle bank reconciliations.
  • Manage credit card and expense administration, analysis, and postings.
  • Prepare and post general ledger journals and payroll-related entries.
  • Assist with preparing balance sheet reconciliations and group reports.
  • Support year-end tasks, including audits, tax queries, and group submissions.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual returns for the Office of National Statistics.
