I have a great opportunity for a junior accountant to join a fresh produce business with a global presence. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with our financial policies. You will work closely with the Senior Accountant and other team members to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, with a particular focus on utilising Sage and Tradabase accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts
Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Assist in preparing tax returns and other financial compliance tasks
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Contribute to the analysis and improvement of financial processes
Work closely with senior accountants to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

What We're Looking For:

A minimum of a years experience in a similar role
Experience using Sage software
Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with numbers
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

This is a fully office based role.
