Salary: £30,014 - £31,231 per annum plus £62.64 for each sleep-in shift

Deputy Manager Duties
- You will be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a Registered Manager.
- You will be responsible for delivering quality care services, strategic planning for developments within the home, and all day-to-day management matters.
- Leading your team along with other professionals, you will provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child, focused on obtaining the best outcomes.
- You will act as a positive role model to colleagues and children, meeting their everyday living needs and developing trusting relationships that foster recovery, growth, and lasting change.
- Responsible for supervision and mentoring of staff, organisation of work patterns, facilitation of care-focused training, and accessing appropriate services to support childcare practices within the home.
Deputy Manager Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years experience working within children's residential care.
- NVQ Level 4 in Management or Young People or above.
- Knowledge of OFSTED legislation and safeguarding procedures.
- Highly driven, proactive, and enthusiastic.
- A strong people manager with a hands-on approach.
- Experience with budgets and rotas.
- Full driving licence is essential.
- Flexibility in caring for the children, including working shifts and sleep-ins.
