The are searching for a dynamic Sales Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Sales Engineer key responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to grow accounts.
- Proactively seek out and establish new business opportunities within the food production sector.
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients, tailoring solutions to their specific needs.
- Conduct on-site visits and demonstrations to showcase product capabilities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Travel across the East Midlands, East Anglia, and occasionally further afield (e.g., Scotland and Ireland) with overnight stays as required.
Sales Engineer skills required:
- Engineering background: You might already be a Sales Engineer or an Engineer ready to transition into a sales role.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex machinery and convey this knowledge to clients. Ideally with a good electrical and mechanical knowledge.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight when necessary.
- Full UK driving license is essential.
