This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking long-term, stable employment with potential for permanent placement.Key Responsibilities:* Conduct daily machinery checks to ensure it is clean, safe, and ready for operation.* Complete all necessary traceability documentation, including start-up checks.* Set and monitor machinery to ensure it operates according to technical specifications, using the correct packaging and labels.* Ensure an adequate supply of packaging to minimise downtime during changeovers.* Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate serious faults to the Engineering team promptly.* Follow all organic procedures and ensure only qualified staff operate machinery.* Support general line duties, such as packing, stacking, or loading, when required.* Collaborate with the Line Leader to address staffing, stock, and delay-related issues.* Promote Health & Safety, hygiene, and environmental best practices.* Identify areas for improvement and share ideas with relevant staff, using techniques like 5S and root cause analysis.Benefits:* Weekly pay for added convenience.* Free on-site parking.* Access to a staff shop with discounted products.* Ongoing training and development opportunities.* A supportive and friendly working environment.Requirements:* Must have your own transport if living outside of Spalding.* Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential.* A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.* Food van on site If you're ready to join a team that values its employees and offers great benefits, apply now!
