Project Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Project Manager to oversee key projects, from construction and installation to ongoing maintenance. This role will work closely with the Operations Director to support the smooth delivery and operation of equipment in line with company and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of constructing, inspecting, delivering, and installing dosing systems, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.
  • Customer & Supplier Relations: Work closely with the sales team, managing relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Equipment & Maintenance Management: Implement and maintain logs for equipment and establish maintenance schedules to ensure systems run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and manage both raw materials and finished product stock to maintain optimal supply levels.
  • Logistics: Coordinate the loading and dispatch of equipment, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to various sites.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Assist in managing onsite health and safety in the environmental production area, issuing necessary permits and upholding compliance.
  • Engineering Support: Provide both proactive and reactive engineering support for installations, ensuring all systems and certifications are in place.
  • Product Development Assistance: Collaborate with the Operations Director to support the development and improvement of products.
  • Cross-Functional Flexibility: Offer engineering and project management support across the business, assisting in other areas when needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Engineering Qualification: A relevant engineering qualification is desirable, ideally in mechanical, electrical, or environmental engineering.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with PLC control systems and 3-phase electrics is highly advantageous. Experience with wastewater treatment, pumps, and flow monitoring equipment is desirable.
  • Basic IT Skills: A general understanding of IT equipment is beneficial.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with different departments and provide support as required.
