We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards and implementing effective safety measures.

*Duties*

- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programmes and policies in compliance with legal regulations.

- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify risks and ensure adherence to safety standards.

- Facilitate training sessions for employees on safety practices, including first aid procedures.

- Investigate accidents and incidents, performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.

- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and compliance with regulations.

- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organisation.

- Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance documentation.

- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in legislation related to workplace safety.

*Qualifications*

- Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.

- Certification in first aid is highly desirable.

- Proficient in conducting risk assessments and implementing corrective actions based on findings.

- Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis methodologies.
